Hi Bullants,
One of our proud sponsors, Gabriel Ng, has invited the Bullants community along to a Community forum on Addictive Behaviour and Gambling Harm Prevention for Young People.
A 2026 Menzies Youth Advisory Council initiative, the forum will explore how to support young people’s mental health, recognise and reduce the risks of addictive behaviours and gambling harm, and connect with appropriate local support services.
Our panel will feature Sean Kearney from Gambler’s Help Eastern, who delivers the Be Ahead of the Game school gambling education program, alongside Dom Pezzutto from Turning Point addiction research, treatment and education centre who coordinates the BreakThrough: Families Understanding Addiction program, as well as a lived-experience advocate.
Date: 7 October 2026
Time: 6:30pm
Location: Manningham Uniting Church & Community Centre, 109 Wood St, Templestowe 3106
