BLUE & GOLD
Our cricket club originated as the Bulleen Templestowe Youth Club Cricket Club, founded in 1970 by Tom Stannard, Graham Flack and Tom Gould. The club, later renamed the Bulleen Templestowe Cricket Club (BTCC), has had a long and successful history competing in the Box Hill Reporter District Cricket Association (BHRDCA) since its inception.
“The Bullants” home ground and clubrooms are located at Ted Ajani Reserve, and our secondary ground is Timber Ridge reserve. With two fantastic facilities, it makes the Bulleen Templestowe Cricket Club a great place to be involved.
Since inception, the Bullants have won a total of 31 senior premierships (including 2 x Womens, 2 x T20 and 1 x Veterans premierships) and 33 junior premierships. Promoted back into McIntosh Shield grade in 2005, the club achieved the highest accolade in the BHRDCA by winning the Shield for the first time in 2008-09, and again in 2011-12. 9 of the 11 players in both premierships played junior cricket at the club, a testament to our grass-roots culture and strength of our junior cricket program.
